The area has wonderful scenery with the valleys providing a magnificent panorama. The Opal coast has miles of lovely beaches, and interesting resorts. Architecture is varied from simple farm houses to stunning cathedrals, (including the magnificent, Unesco listed cathedral at Amiens), you really don't have to drive far to find something to turn your head.

Children will enjoy a day at Parc Bagatelle, or Dennlys Parc amusement centres, or perhaps a day at Nausicaa aquarium / marine centre.

To further enhance your visit, we can offer a picnic hamper facility, allowing you to stop at one of the many beauty spots and enjoy a tasty meal 'al-fresco' in the peace & quiet of the countryside. (Contents according to your requirements).
Just over an hours drive will find you in the Department of the Somme, scene of the most devastating fighting of the First World War, now a calm and peaceful area, dotted with cemeteries and memorials to these brave men. While exploring the region it doesn't take much imagination to conjure up a picture of the terrible times these men went through.

If you require help or information on the Somme battlefields, we can arrange tours of the area, and help you trace some of the service history of your relatives, to perhaps 'tread in their footsteps'.

We are just 10 kms North-East of Hesdin. Full directions will be sent with your booking confirmation.
